Meet Our Team

Jeffrey Bouchy
Founder and President, Jeffrey Bouchy, has over eleven years of professional sports management and development experience.  From 1998 through 2002, Jeff led the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League and the Peoria Pirates of the arenafootball2 League in several professional capacities.  His roles with the organization included General Manager and Vice President of Football Operations as well as Chief Financial Officer and a Director for the publicly traded company that owned the two teams.  During his tenure with the Orlando Predators, Jeff was a part of two ArenaBowl Championship teams (1998 and 2000).

Jeff has also worked in collegiate athletics, minor league hockey, and arena event management.  Through his various positions in sports management, Jeff has developed the ability to create promotions and advertising campaigns that generate a buzz and put fans in the seats.  Jeff holds an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in Sports Management from West Virginia University.

Adam Howard
Chief Operating Officer, Adam Howard, joined Destroyer after holding a number of different operations and marketing positions with Toll Brothers, Hewlett-Packard, and the American Automobile Association.  Adam’s exposure to various brand development strategies and practical operating protocol has proven invaluable in the sports promotions business.

Adam holds an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Rice University.

Joel Koch
National Sales Manager, Joel Koch, joined Destroyer after spending a combined five seasons with the Springfield Capitals, the West Michigan Whitecaps, and the Lake County Captains.  During his time with said teams, Joel held positions in operations, sales, and promotions including the position of Promotions Director for the Lake County Captains. 

In his time with Destroyer, Joel has helped more than 150 teams identify the best promotions strategies and products to meet their needs.  Joel holds a degree in Public Relations from Ohio University.

Jami Rekar
Overseas Project Manager, Jami Rekar, joined Destroyer after a combined six years of sports management experience with the West Michigan Whitecaps and the Long Island Ducks.  Most recently, Jami served as the Merchandise Manager and the Promotions Director for the Long Island Ducks.  Jami’s experience in merchandising and promotions has allowed her to play an essential role in working with clients and foreign manufacturers to create custom products of the highest quality.

Jami holds a degree in Sports Management from the University of South Carolina.

Carie Hanawalt
Graphic Designer and Domestic Production Manager, Carie Hanawalt, joined Destroyer with more than ten years of graphic design and management experience.  Carie has helped a number of organizations strengthen their brands through logo design and enhancement as well as custom packaging and marketing material design.  In addition, Carie has created retail and promotional product artwork for more than a hundred sports franchises during her career. 

Carie holds a degree in Graphic Design from Illinois State University.

John Pearce
Controller, John has over six years experience in professional sports.  From 1999 to 2003 John served as the controller for the Orlando Predators of the AFL and the Peoria Pirates of the af2 League.  He oversaw all areas of accounting as well as game day operations.  He was part of two championships seasons 2000 (Predators) and 2002 (Pirates).  

John received his Accounting degree from Arizona State University and served in the Air Force for 12 years.

Jamie Von Sossan
Outside Sales Representative, Jamie Von Sossan, joined Destroyer after spending six seasons with the Lincoln Salt Dogs and the Sacramento River Cats.  Jamie’s most recent positions with the Sacramento River Cats included Promotions Director and Season Ticket Account Executive.  Jamie’s years of experience in building customer loyalty and developing long-term customer relationships have proven very useful in helping our own clients deepen their team’s ties with sponsors and fans.

Jamie studied Business Management and played on the women’s golf team at the University of Nebraska.
